Buy a Six Foot 1/8" Plug to 1/8" Jack Shielded Cable
from your local RadioShack Store.

BUILDING A PAL CONNECTOR TO 1/8" JACK ADAPTER CABLE :
Cut the Shielded Cable about 12" to 18" from the 1/8"
Jack end. Strip back the about 1" of the Outer Insulation
and Twist the Shield Wires together to form a 1" Pig-Tail.
Strip back the about 1/2" of the Inner Insulation and Twist
Inner Conductor Wires together to form a 1/2" Pig-Tail.
Connect the Inner Conductor Wires to the Inner Pin of the
PAL Connector. Connect the Outer Shield Wires to the Outer
Ring of the PAL Connector.
