Default Channel Africa

Channel Africa's English broadcast this evening on 7390 khz was a solid
S9 and perfectly listenable. They must have some powerful transmitters.

Yep, 7390 is a mighty 500,000 candles.
for a bit more of a DX challenge why don't you try 3345 Khz which is only
100,000 watts.
and for a further DX test try R. Sonder Grense (radio across borders) on
3320, 7185 and 9650 Khz, all in Afrikaans language.
These are 100,000 watt TX's.

A couple of nights ago I actually had a better signal on 3345 than
7390. Guess the conditions were just right.

I occasionally hear Radio Sonder Grense, but it's always pretty weak
and difficult to make out.
