Via Hard-Core-DX web site:
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/index.php?topic=HCDX The Finnish well-known DX'er Simo S. Soininen is just now in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Simo sent me last night an e-mail where he says he has met Teo Veras. They plan to activate Radio Cristal shortwave transmitter on 5010 kHz next weekend. Listen to 5010 kHz! I'll send more info in the near future. However, it seems that Internet-connections in the Dominican Republic aren't very reliable. This is all I know now after one short e-mail. That would make another interesting DX catch. I've been missing some of the
tropical band countries for a while. I know there are still quite a few left but it seems that a lot of the Africans are fading away. "dxAce" wrote in message ... When on, they put in a fairly decent signal here. dxAce Michigan USA |
