Thanks, I do get hum when I touch pins 1 and 4 so that diagram should be
correct. Confusing cause those are stereo inputs/outputs and its not a
stereo radio!

If typical of Grundig, the socket is a tape out and phono/tape input.
Phono input is high level (ceramic cartridge). This link should help you
