Sigma 5 vertical as a horizontal antenna???

Has anyone tried using the Force 12 Sigma 5 vertical-dipole in a
horizontal position?

If so, what type of results have you had?

Has anyone done it in an attic?

Sigma 5 vertical as a horizontal antenna???

This is a high-power amateur transmitting antenna. Are you going to
use this for HF BCB listening? If so, seems like overkill for the
bands for which it's designed...and not especially good for the BCB
bands. Having said this, I'd think horizontal would be better than
vertical for reception.

If your interest is HF transmission, then I respectfully withdraw from
the conversation. Good luck to you on this.

Bruce Jensen.
