Default Radio Shack to close 400 to 700 stores

I 've found that most RS stores in the Baltimore metro
area are poorly staffed, with people who
have no knowledge of rven rudimentary electronics. Last trip to the
nearest one, I had to wait what seemed forever while the one
sales "associate" spoke with his girlfriend and when I called the
regional office I was told that the regional manager didn't "have the
time tospeak to any customers". Finally I called Texas direct and was
told that they have very littlecontrol of anything but a criminal
matter involving their regional managers. They need to close ALL their
strore and reorganise so that everyone is trained proerly and leave the
cell phones and such to those who really know their product and at
least have a person available at the regional office that can help with
a real quesyion . Oh - they send me a 5 dollar certificate in the mail
for a discount on any 149 dollar cell phone.DUH

I very rarely ever have a reason to go to any of the Radio Shack stores
around here. Not often is it that I need to go to Metrocenter Mall across
Highway 80 from me. www.metromalljackson.com Unless I want to buy
something from the Sears store. There is a Radio Shack store about two
stores from the Sears store and I will look in that Radio Shack store to
see if there in anything new that might interest me.
