Only better deal was some cheapo POS at Wally World. I live a couple miles from the Sacramento Fry's, so I like to go in there and look around. Fry's has THE BEST selection of HDTVs, including LCD TVs. They also have a lot of LCD monitors and some computers, although their computers are rather pricey. I'm typing on a $300 Fry's computer right now. They have a brand called "Great Quality" or something that is really cheap. I'm talking about their HPs and brand name computers. I prefer not to buy name brand computers anyway. I'd rather go to a local shop and get a custom built clone for a great price. GQ. That's what I have. I upgraded the CPU to a 2.4 Prescott and added some memory so I could run ProTools on it. I like PC Club clones, but it's hard to beat $299 including XPSP2. |
