Default Short SWL log from this afternoon.

Sunday, 2-19-06, from southeastern Wisconsin. Satellit 800 off the
whip. My first posted radio log, so be gentle with any criticisms.

9760. 22:15 UTC. Ethnic music, male anncr. Man and woman then talking
(drama show?). Good volume, some fading. Radio Cyprus?

9855. 22:18 UTC. Music. Man and woman having discussion, then music. S6
or so with some fade. Radio Kuwait?

9870. 22:22 UTC. Had to tune using LSB. Strong interference. Man and
woman speaking, sounds Arabic. About S5. Probably Voice of the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia.

9885. 22:25 UTC. Sounds Spanish. Male anncr. Phrase "Afro-American"
heard multiple times. Mention of Los Angeles. Good signal with slight
interference. About S8 here. Not sure, but I think it was VOA, not sure
which site.

9895. 22:27 UTC. S8 signal. Mention of Hamas and Mahmoud Abbas. Not
sure of the language. Two male anncrs talking, then "oldies" type music
heard at 22:29. I know Radio Netherlands runs on this freq, but
Passport lists nothing for this time...

9990. 22:30 UTC. S7. Female anncr, very quiet audio. Radio Cairo,
almost certainly. Sounds like reading news in English, but very hard to
undertand. Followed by Arabic-sounding music with female singer.

Good info. Where did you purchase your radio and how long have you had it?
