Ahhhhh ya beat me to it,Caveat.But that's alright.I dont know if that
place still exist,but there is (or used to be) a place in Arizona that
has over a million radio tubes for sale.

Possibly you are thinking of "Antique Electronic Supply"? They will have
the tubes he is looking for and they are a nice place to do business
with but they are a little on the pricey side...(IMHO).
