I believe Ascension is owned by Merlin Communications. It always comes
in strong in North America. The BBCWS English service to Africa via
Ascension at 0400 on 6005 is sometimes strong enough to interfere with
Cuba on 6000 here in California.

I often see it written as VT/Merlin or VT Merlin. If they've dropped the
"Merlin", I was unaware of it.
