Absolutely - it solved my scratchy pot problems on practically
everything, lickety-split.

Question regarding Deoxit products

I have some old radios that make that scratchy noise when I tune between
stations and some other old radios (and flashlights too) that have some
battery corrosion that needs to be cleaned off.

I will buy a can of Deoxit and do my own "expert review" of Deoxit.

Formerly known as Cramolin.

Sort of. Cramolin disappeared when the ban on CFCs went into effect.
(May have still been offered in Canada for a while after it
disappeared from the USA.) I got the distinct impression that DeOxit
was different by one or two chemicals.

DeOxit smells like tinkertoys. :)

Actually, (I've got some old postings about this) Cramonlin disappeared
in the US when the people in Germany who made it got hacked off at Caig,
who were claiming that they invented it. So Caig cloned it and named
it DeOxit. Cramolin is still made there, and I hear that you can get
at foreign brand automotive suppliers, as it's the preferred cure for
electrical problems in various German car lines.

Use white vinegar on the battery crud.

Funny, for me baking soda works a treat.

Question regarding Deoxit products

A spoon full of Baking Soda in a glass of water works for stomach
indigestion.A spoon full (or two) in a cup of hot water works for
getting battery acid off of auto batteries.A bowl of Baking Soda in the
refrigerator works for keeping the regrigerator smelling ok.Bakng Soda
is great for some food recipes. But,Baking Soda or White Vineger for
removing battery corrosion from radios?,,,,, Forget It!,it doesn't work
at all.

I went to the food store this afternoon and then I stopped at a gas
station to buy some gasoline for my lawn mower.By that time,I had
forgotten all about going to the Radio Shack store for a can of
Deoxit. It doesn't matter that much to me anyway,I am not in a
hurry.Maybe next week,I might think about it,maybe never.

Sodium bicarbonate shouldn't be taken for acid indigestion. It is
dangerous and too high in sodium. Use calcium carbonate.
