Radio Havana Cuba is too weak tonight
I tuned to 6000 khz at 0500 UTC on 06 April 2006. Radio Havana Cuba's signal was coming in decently here in northern California. I'm using a Kaito 1102 with just the whip antenna and a random wire for grounding.
The SIO code started at 444, but over the next 15 minutes, it dropped to 242. I'm curious if anyone else was listening tonight. I was optimistic after some recent wins with RHC reception, but this is abysmal and I can't figure out what's different on the receiving end. Also, 6060 khz and 9550 khz are silent. |

Just little curious, which relay of Radio Havana Cuba's are you using from Northern California? -- Raqueeb Hassan Bangladesh |
