The Home Of Super Slinky Helical Antennas -by- KB0XA
Well,I just now dischovered what was making that rattling around noise
in my Pioneer Onkyo SX-690 AM/FM stereo radio that I bought at the Goodwill store last year. Two philips head screws on each side of the cabinet hold the cabinet to the chassis, easy as pie to rmove that cabinet from the chassis. The metal grill on top of the cabinet has a lot of slots.Just the perfect size for the two dimes I found that had fallen down in there.I saw two glass fuses and it didn't look to me like the wires inside of the fuses had blown. Maybe someday I will hook up the two Pioneer speakers that came with the radio and try it out. cuhulin |

Those two dimes were in the radio when I bought it at the Goodwill
store.I think I am going to glue a piece of cloth under the grill of the radio. cuhulin |
