It's a kit, i.e. a crapshoot.

That's some sloppy ass kit building. The candle wax on the trimmers
is a nice touch as well. Looks worse than a Hallicrafters.

I'm sure that kit radio gave it's original owner many hours of
satisfaction. $20.00 is probably more than I would pay for one since
it is sold as is.

What I don't like about the auction is that it is managed by a broker.
I've never gotten a satisfactory answer from those folks, and sometimes
they don't even bother to respond at all. I was confused by this
statement: "The owner stated that this item worked well on ESPN A
Band." Does that mean an ESPN station on the AM band? Or something
else...

I do own an old Heathkit Signal Tracer.I dont see a model number on it.I
guess it dates back to the early 1960's,maybe the 1950's.It is portable
and has a metal carrying handle on top of it and what looks sort of like
a tuneing eye in the lower left front corner on the front.I think it is
a tube type signal tracer, oviously.I also own a small Micronta
Transitorized (it says transistorized on the front panel) Signal Tracer.

I also own a few other old testors for testing things related to radios
and tv sets, such as signal generators and tube testors.Stuff I bought
many years ago at thrift stores and fleamarkets and junk shops.I dont
know how to use those devices though. What it is,I like to collect all
kinds of old,old thingys.Whether I ever use that old stuff or not,it
doesn't matter to me.It's my junk and I like it.
