www.coasttocoastam.com Some details I recall: The bride is in her
early 20's and Art is 60. They will live in a Manila high-rise on the
19 floor and Art expects to put up an antenna for his ham station.
Divorce is illegal in the Phillipines. His bride does not want to live
in the USA. His cars for sale include a Camaro, a couple of Geo Metros
and a hot rod Firebird. He also has a big RV. His ham gear includes
some serious amplifiers. Offers for the property and chattels are to be
sent by fax only. He will originate his broadcasts from Manila in a few
weeks. He seemed quite happy. That's about all I recall but he may have
more tonight.

I wish him well. At one time Manila was a really nice place to live
for ex-pat's. Given the periodic turmoil I would have to think twice
about the location.

She died in early January and Art said he'd been tele-conferencing with
this new one for a few months. So he didn't wait long to after the loss
of his "soul-mate," as he called Ramona, to find a new one.

He also said, apparently in all candor, that this new one didn't even
know he was rich. Uh huh...right.

Art Bell is a good guy.So he remaired (that is his right) and he is
moving to the Phillipines.(because he said she said she isn't interested
in moving to America,,, and that is her right too,to stay in the
Phillipines if she so chooses) Anybody heard from Burr? he moved to the
Phillipines,didn't he?
