R7000 vs R8500 question

Im still looking for a uhf scanner/receiver with excellent uhf
sensitivity. So far ive found
Icom r7000s that vary quite abit in price ( is there a older & a newer
version) ? Also the
r8500 thats quite abit more. Does anyone know whats the big difference
between the two
and if all r7000s had the same uhf sensitivity?
