Stolen VOR QSL?
It took almost 5 months and finally a letter arrived the other day from the
Voice of Russia. I noticed right away that the envelope was already loosely open and somewhat un-glued. Inside I found a few letters with schedule and other information about VOR, BUT NO QSL!!!! AARRRGG!!! I guess I'll try again. |

The mail I recently got from VOR included a schedule that was only valid for 2 more days (heh) and a QSL card. If you email them and say that the envelope didn't include a QSL card maybe they will just send it again for you. |

I doubt that any postal person would steal a QSL card. More likely, it was inspected for some reason and not all of the contents were put back in the envelope. Try enclosing an envelope with peel-back adhesive. |

Stolen VOR QSL?
About four years ago in the month of July, two guys with the City of
Jackson Water Department were working on (or pretending to be working on) the water meter in the front yard next door to me.(I wish I had had some film for my camera) When they got through, they slowly moved their pickup truck up and down the street I live on and they peeked into every single one of the snail mail boxes on the street I live on,including mine too. y'all dont believe the post office will and does ''inspect'' our snail mail? Oh Yes they do! Twice it has happened to me.For instance I once ordered some paper back books,HARRP and Underground Bases, (www.sauderzone.com) two books from a book company. When my books got here, there was what looked just like somebody had poked a finger in the top right corner of the shipping envelope and ''checked out'' my books and there was a lot of scotch tape covering the hole and all along the top of the envelope.I still have that envelope around here somehere,I know I didn't throw it away. cuhulin |
