Radio Vatican via DRM

Received a DRM transmission from Radio Vatican, Santa Maria, Vatican on
9750kHz, 2300 - 2345 UTC. This is not a CBC relay, but direct from the
Vatican. There were many drops in the signal, but it was usable. This is a
first for me for such a long distant DRM signal.

DRM transmissions via Bonaire, Neth. Antilles, come in near flawless, but
they should since I'm in Texas and they're just across the Gulf.
Surprisingly signals from Sackville, NB, Canada, on 9800kHz, were nearly
unusable. Perhaps they changed their antenna pattern or something.

Sackville is also sending a test DRM transmission on 11830kHz, 2230 - 2355
UTC. The transmission is identified as NAB. Sackvilles transmission on
9800kHz is identified as, the usual, CBC. Many drops, difficult listening.

DRM...I thought they gave up on that.

It is still used to trash part of the band from time to time.
