I don't understand why the CPUC went forward with this when BPL trials are a known problem in other states. http://today.reuters.com/news/articl...etNews&storyid =2006-04-27T183248Z_01_N27428854_RTRUKOC_0_US-UTILITIES-BROADBAND-CALIFOR NIA.xml&rpc=22 I filed a comment with the CPUC directed to Commissioner CHONG. I am aghast at the decision of the CPUC to go forward with a BPL testing in California when trials of this technology have degraded radio communications in other states. These trials have generated many complaints of radio interference. This flawed technology is not fixable. Currently there is no known way to keep the digital Internet signal to the power line and prevent radio interference. Please reconsider allowing BPL service in California until it can be demonstrated that the service will not interfere with radio communications. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

It sounds like this is only in the San Diego area for now, so I won't be able to look for interference up here in the San Francisco bay area.
