This poll is only for Eton owners. They appear to be more easily excited.

No, I wouldn't waste my troops on those pieces of **** receivers, but
might consider wasting them on the Sony 7600GR, or Degen 1103.

Maybe, the obsession with having to buy backup receivers,
"new-in-the-box", like that gentleman who bought one Eton E10 then,
"liked it some much I went back and bought another one" (what a waste
of $100), has something to do with it. He bought them "used" from RS,
but should have bought either the Sony 7600GR, or Degen 1103 (I would
have bought the Degen 1103, so I could have a, "new-in-the-box," as
backup, for the same price as the Sony, plus change)...

Thinking about this delimma, what happens, if Degen comes out with an
updated version of the 1103 ? Do we throw away our current, but
pristine radio, break out the backup, then purchase the updated radio,
as backup ? How many do we purchase - one or two ? If the updated
radios sit as backups, then we won't be able to use them, unless we
drop our old Degen, or get a blemish on it, so we can throw it away. Do
we then, break out the older version backup, or one of the updated
radios ? But we always need to have, at least, one backup of the newer
radio. This delimma goes on-and-on, as Degen comes out with updated
radios (one seller on Ebay lists their 1103, as the most recent
version). Then, I heard that Degen may be coming out with an 1105 -
what the Hell do we do ? God, this is making me crazy !
