Eton E5 Battery Cover
 

I just purchased an Eton E5 and while the build quality is excellent, I
noticed that the battery cover does not latch tight onto the case. This
makes it easy to slide open. Fortunately the cover is hinged so it
won't fall off. Has anyone else noticed this with the E5 or might this
be peculiar to my sample?

The battery cover on my E5 seems secure. It is securely in place when closed and requires a fair amount of pressure to open it.
