I acquired a Redsun RF-1210, which is a receiver that very closely resembles the Tecsun R-9700DX. After a bit of use, I wrote up a description of my experiences and included a couple photos of the radio. This writeup is available at:

Hi, I also have a unit from Redsun, it's working well except the
sliding scale indicating the frequency range is slightly out of range.
It' s comparable to the Degen 1107 except clock and light. I don't have
the Tecsun R-9700DX, but from the blogspot, it is looking almost the
same.

By the way, do you have the Redsun RP-2100, it is a BCL with PLL
circuit dual conversion set, very powerful in FM, strong in MW and good
in shortwave reception.

Regards

AMK

I don't have that one but I'm interested to hear how it performs. I got a Tecsun BCL-2000 not so long ago which I use mostly for FM and mediumwave.

Redsun so far only seems to be copying, not innovating.
