Appropriations Committee reversed the request of the
Broadcasting Board of
Governors decision to cut the Voice of America radio
broadcasts in Albanian,
Bosnian, English, Hindi, Macedonian, and Russian. The
House Appropriators also
reversed the total elimination of broadcasts in Croatian,
Georgian, Greek,
