RadioBanter - Tuning slugs

Antique Electronic Supply (http://www.tubesandmore.com/)used to carry
these in a package with several different kinds. I don't know if they
still have them.
I assume you are looking for the type with a hex hole through the slug.
What length?

So where do I get one? It is about 1/4" diameter and the standard hex
head. I wonder if they are still being produced today. I am not even
very sure what it is made out of. Maybe powder iron or ferrite???? I
prefer not to scrap a radio for just one slug. Somebody told me to go
to hamfest, but I don't go to those often.
