Just heard Cape Radio on 10780 in contact with King 1, checking comms at 1812.
Switched to 9132 and checked comms there as well.

Shuttle is scheduled to liftoff at 1949.

Propagation today is not very good.

I'm in Jacksonville and usually I can hear something going on HF or VHF, but
I'm unable to today. I know that it's been a while since a shuttle
launched. Generally are all of the old posted frequencies still good?

No, it's not. I'm hearing more activity on 9132 than on 10780, but am
not sure whether there's activity on 10780 that I'm not hearing. Both
frequencies have quieted down a bit.

I'd guess that they should all be pretty good. But I'd never say that with 100%
certainty.
