Ever since the 1970s, SWL has been in a steady decline - as soon as,
"Voice of the Andes", stopped broadcasting, I knew SWL was dying (VOA
was my favorite). Now, only third world countries are broadcasting
from the toilet and it is mainly religious garbage and nothing worth
listening to. Anyway, DRM will render today's analog SW receivers
useless, because unlike IBOC, it is all-or-nothing (only digital). I
wouldn't be spending a dime on new SW receivers. AM DXing is boss !
