Voice of Croatia, 17 July 2006

Voice of Croatia received on 17 July 2006 during 0200-0225 UTC (primetimeshortwave says the broadcast is only from 0200-0215 UTC). On 9925 khz although I tuned to 9923 khz due to some form of interference. Five-minute news bulletin followed by several songs. Received with a Sangean ATS-505.

Does anyone have a recording of this broadcast, or can you identify any of the songs played? I will also email the station for a tracklist.

How often does the Voice of Croatia go over time?

I know a guy my age whom is of German descent/ancestry.He was born in
Croatia. He once told me Hitler sent him and his family (during World War
Two) to Germany. He told me that was the best thing Hitler ever did for
him and his family. When he was about ten years old,he and his family
immigrated (legally immigrated) to America. He has over forty years of
experience with all kinds of computers and computer operating
systems.Whenever I have a computer problem,guess who I ask.He lives in
the Northeast,America.

EiBi shows 9925 to be 0200-0230. Also, 9925 to South America via Wertachtal,
Germany (500 kW) and 9925 to North America via both Wertachtal and Nauen,
Germany (500 kW). So quite probably two tranmitters in use at the same time.
