Comparison of E1 with R75 for MW DX

Very impressive. Apparently the Finn got one of the lower price reconditioned units. As they are availabe for about $400, I'l have to start shoping around Ron Is the Icom known as a good MW DX receiver? I never recall hearing this about it, but I haven't followed the reviews all that closely, either. I thought the Icom's strength was SW, and especially utilities. Steve |

To take full advantage of the R75, you'd need to disable the MW attenuator. The Kiwa mods would help as well. I'm not an R75 owner nor an E1 owner, but I imagine that others may have both. --Mike L. |
