Howdy folks,
I want to put my new FT-850 in an old ex-USMC Slantback Humvee. The Humvee has two huge whips already mounted on it and a smaller VHF whip. I can change any of these or install others. They're not being used now. As you can imagine size isn't a factor. A big whip is fine. Can anyone advise me on the best HF whip and/or tuner to try? Thanks all! MD |

Try using what you already have. If it doesn't work, try something else. 'Doc |

Search for the screwdriver antenna if size does not mater. Several companies are making that type. |
