OK...it's been a LONG time since I posted here...

I admit I'm not a big fan of Ebay listings in this group.
However...they ARE here to stay...

--If you think the price is too high, well, then DON'T BID ON IT!.
and don't waste bandwidth bitching about it either.
Caveat emptor, right?!?!

--His listings are not at all out of line for what these will bring.
The 741/742 are out of production and have held their value.
He's been selling these for several years and seems to know what he's
doing. Yes, he may make more from parting one out than selling
whole...it's called CAPITALISM.

--I recently purchased a control unit from him for less than my time
was worth to repair. The circuit board on my unit had been repaired
three times and had several lifted traces which would require
extensive repair. The $100+ circuit board was no longer available;
I bought the entire control unit for $125 from him and salvaged an
$800 radio. I'm happy.
