OK...it's been a LONG time since I posted here...
I admit I'm not a big fan of Ebay listings in this group. However...they ARE here to stay... --If you think the price is too high, well, then DON'T BID ON IT!. and don't waste bandwidth bitching about it either. Caveat emptor, right?!?! --His listings are not at all out of line for what these will bring. The 741/742 are out of production and have held their value. He's been selling these for several years and seems to know what he's doing. Yes, he may make more from parting one out than selling whole...it's called CAPITALISM. --I recently purchased a control unit from him for less than my time was worth to repair. The circuit board on my unit had been repaired three times and had several lifted traces which would require extensive repair. The $100+ circuit board was no longer available; I bought the entire control unit for $125 from him and salvaged an $800 radio. I'm happy. 73 de KJ5KB Don Don Byrer KJ5KB Radar Tech & Smilin' Commercial Pilot Guy Glider & CFI wannabe kj5kb-at-hotmail.com "I have slipped the surly bonds of earth; now if I can just land without bending the gear..."
