Very well said Michael. The self righteous jerk repeatedly turns one
insignificant off topic post (one that would have been ignored by all)
into a seemingly endless thread.

I hope he heeds your advice and gets a new hobby. It is doubtful
though because he appears to be genuinely clueless.
