Default What Is/Was Your Favorite 'Analog' AM/FM/SW Pocket Radio ?

Dear "RHF."

I'm SHOCKED that no one here has even mentioned the GREAT Bell &
Howell Radio:

http://www.amazon.com/BAND-World-Rad.../dp/B000G1WLO6
sold by "AsSeenOnTVGuys" (and that says it all!).

Just ignore those two "negative" reviews of this fine instrument
posted on Amazon's site. They were no doubt written by government
agents ("shills" in a negative sense) who are trying to dissuade
people from buying sophisticated radios which are capable of tuning
broadcasts over which the government has no control. Nefarious indeed!

When you own this one of these radios, who needs AOR, Drake, JRC,
ICOM, Eton/Grundig, Sony, Degen/Kaito, Sangean, etc. and all those
other overpriced ones?

Best,

Joe

Beyond AM & FM Radio - Do you ever Listen to the Shortwave
(SW) Radio with a 'Pocket' Radio while moving around ?

WHY - This Pocket-Radio ?
* Reception ?
* Sound ?
* Battery Life ?

the things you enjoy while walking around. ~ RHF .

So says Joe, with fingers crossed behind his back. i have one of
of those little beast around here somewhere. also have a mini-P100
in the glove box. my favorite "Almost pocket Radio", is the radio shack
DX-399. i know, it says digital on the front, and it would take
a big pocket to put it in. got one when RS was all but giving them
away. liked it so much, i went back and got a second. great little radio
to take anywhere.

GOOD DX!
Drifter...
