Would any one know where to find the schematic diagram of the Wireless Set n. 38
MkII?

Thanks and 73

Unfortunately (and I did look) it's not that helpful.

The "Second to fourth echelon work" EMER (File 169) does not contain the
circuit diagram.

"Notes for Radio Mechanics Part 3" (File SIG123) contains a circuit and
some notes, but no component values.

The "General Description" (File 170) contains the circuit diagram but is
in absolutely terrible condition and needs to be rescanned if we've still
got it. At least the component list appears readable. I think it's a
badly faded mimeograph copy that didn't scan well.

It needs looking at (and some more work), I'm afraid.

Chris.

Self followup: someone is mailing me their set of WS38 EMERs,
and with any luck that will include the circuit diagram, component
lists, layout, and full servicing information.

OK, I have the EMERs, and it looks like the complete set with all
10 modifications, the miscellaneous instructions, etc.

Scanning in progress, though this may take a while.

Do you have a high-speed connection, or would it be easier to run
it all through a photocopier and mail you the result? (If you want
the paper copy option, I'll need your postal address.)

Best,
Chris.

Tony

I have one on my website at http://www.vk2bv.org/radio/ws38.htm which
doesn't require passwords and so on to access. Info on a number of other
bits of interesting gear too. The Mk III appears to be the same but with
a different case and an external calibrator.
