Hello All,
Just after divesting myself of nearly every radio I had, I find myself 'pulled back in'. I have a fellow engineer that works in our Germany office, who showed us a very good time when we were over there. He is also a collector of radios, and even toured us around the amazing historical communications collection at the 'communications technology institute' he had attended (forgot the name). He is 'retiring' of sorts; he will be going back to school for his PHD and working part time in the company labs. For his 'retirement', a couple of us here would like to give him a nice old radio. One of us found a good Hallicrafters S-19R Sky Buddy. I am asking for any photos you might have of the Sky Buddy, inside and out, closeup, to help get my bearings. Post to the board, it might help others in the future - but make 'em as high res. as possible. I could really use a shot of the pointer and the speaker. Thanks, David Goncalves |
