He was not absolutely clear last week, but it *sounded* like he was
preparing for some R&R of some sort. I certainly hope it is not more
serious than this. One thing that concerned us was that he said he

Well, maybe...kinda...sorta...

Severe back pain can be very difficult to control. Furthermore, it is
relatively easy to unwittingly get the monkey on your back. Just happens
in the normal course of treatment. And if you are on other drugs (or
alcohol -- as Lare was occasionally known to do), well, watch out! See
my statement above about going to sleep and waking up dead. :-(

He's got some extreme back pain. That alone can be debilitating.

Sometimes I wake up with a ketch in my neck or in my hip.Sometimes my
back bothers me.Sometimes I get a cramp in one or both of my legs at the
same time, that is 'Fun'! NOT!
