I would soon be purchasing HF radio. Any models you can recommend that would
also supplement as a scanner in terms of wide band coverage besides normal
3-30 MHz? Continuous coverage upto 1.5 GHz would be desirable. TIA.

the hf transceivers that also have 6 meters, 2 meters 70 cm and above
quite often also have receiver coverage between the vhf/uhf ham bands.
check their tuning specs at the icom/kenwood/yaesu web sites for the
particular coverage you're interested in.
