Kenwood 830S

Good evening everyone,
I need to replace the Heater Switch on a Kenwood 830S.
Do you know if you need to remove the front panel or if I can do it from the inside?
If not remove the front panel is it difficult?
I saw the diagram and it looks tedious.
Has anyone ever done it?
