Well, gee.... just what were you saying? I'm trying to figure out just
what you mean. You're saying that there are lots of hits out there on 1/4 wave antennas, but you don't mean that they work well, and those of us that say a 1/4 wave antenna isn't practical or advisable are wrong because as long as you aren't worried aboout the antenna working or not, you can make a dipole of any fractional length? - Mike KB3EIA - WaIT a minute Mike, there are 1/4 Wave Ants that will work, but not 1/4 Wave Dipoles |

If TwIT knew anything about my books she'd at least have
a clue to where to find a clue. I gave up on that long ago. Maybe some newcomer reading here might have learned why a 1/4 wave dipole is something hams don't try to use. At least among those who understand why. If you want to load your feedline and use it as part of the antenna, fine. But one should be more careful about what you name it. Dick I do see a way to make money here. Most of these Clowns dont have a clue. And if someone wanted to make alot of money, they could easily sell just about anything to these Clowns. And it would just take some key little BUZZ WORDS that these Clowns would bite into. |
