I'm playing with an old FT 101B Yaesu. After a few repairs, I've only one
problem left to solve. The transmit frequency is not aligned with the receive frequency. The difference is roughly 700Hz on all bands and modes. I've only got a copy of the operating manual and the possiblity of this problem and a solution are not addressed as far as I can tell. It seems I remember folks having this problem with 101's back in the seventies, but it's a very vague memory. If you know the fix for pulling this together, or if you can point me to it on the web, I'd appreciate it. I figure it's in the service manual, but I'd rather not spend $41 if I can help it. Thanks for the read! Dan W5VJ Tulsa |
