Default BPL and CB

Has anyone in the current BPL trial areas been monitoring the CB band
for interference? From what I have been hearing via the grape vine is
that the entire CB band (and the so called "freeband") are completely
unusable due to PL interference.

Crank up the power amps. Let them know what's up.
What are they going to do, give us a different band to
shut millions of CBers up.

Good buddy!

The Hams will have the same problem, but they can legally run
1.5 KW. The BPL is doomed, if it's as susceptible to RF as
advertised. (?)

My tune tone will fubar it.

You can have all the amps you want; if you can't hear 'em, ya can't work
'em. This not only applies to cbers and hams - it is also will apply to a
*lot* of things, including the bottom VHF television channels. It will
affect low band VHF users as well as all HF users.

Best regards from Rochester, NY
Jim

is there some place where you can see what areas its being tested in? power
line noise is way up here but it normally is during the spring and summer
months.
