Default The Great Liberty Net on '45

Sounds like they moved to 3945 tonight. And the 3945 regulars don't
sound too happy about it. Who's jammin' who .. ??

I recognize the netters, but I don't know the '45 guys. Haven't heard
Kind Jewish Indian or Sir Sidney so far. But the evening is
(relatively) young.

The content of the discussions aside, the people that jammed the Liberty Net
last night, if your scenario is correct, sounded like they had a collective IQ
of about 36. I had gone to 3947.5 and heard them (the purported jammers)
talking about the Liberty Net being on 3945, and these same individuals
reappeared on 3945 and began talking over the existing Liberty Net discussion.

If they were seeking a clear frequency on which to talk, they had one at
3947.5 but they left it for the sole purpose of attempting to interfere with
the Liberty Net discussions.

As I said above, I was incredulous at how dumb the jammers sounded, dumb by
vocal qualities and the cadence of their speech (the Bugs Bunny episode where
a character sings "I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee" comes to mind), not
necessarily the content of the jammers discussion, as I was largely unable to
hear much of what they were saying, and the Liberty Net, at least from my
area, was largely discernable.

Regards

The 3945 guys came up to 3947.5 and started whining that the Liberty Net was
splattering on 3945 (these guys have done this in the past, too), even though
2.5 khz QSO separation is the norm on 75 meters. The whiners kept disrupting
the net, so W1WCR went down to 3945 and asked multiple times if the frequency
was in use. Nobody responded, 3945 was vacant because they were up on 3947.5
harassing the net. So Vic moved the net down to 3945. As you can imagine, the
ex-3945ers were caught off guard and were not happy about losing their
frequency. It was hilarious to see them beaten at their own game!

Of course, they just returned to 3945 and continued jamming the net, but it was
great to see Vic turn the tables on them.

The Baby Bumble Bee Song!

"I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee,
Won't my Mommy be surprised at me.
I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee,
Ooo-Eee, it stung me."

"I'm squishing up my baby bumble bee,
Won't my Mommy be so proud of me.
I'm squishing up my baby bumble bee,
Ooo - Eee, blood on me."

"I'm licking up my baby bumble bee,
Won't my Mommy be so proud of me.
I'm licking up my baby bumble bee,
Ooo-Eee, needs salt!"
