Default FCC nails NJ FM pirate

This guy could be heard all over, from Ft. Lee to Mnhattan. Must have been
running a kW at least.

FCC Notice:
ANGELO AVENA. Issued a monetary forfeiture in the amount of $1,000 to
Angelo Avena for operating an unlicensed radio transmitter on the
frequency 87.9 MHz in Linden, New Jersey, in violation of Section 301 of
the Communications Act of 1934, as amended. Action by: Assistant Chief,
Enforcement Bureau. Adopted: 11/23/2004 by Forfeiture Order. (DA No.
04-3675). EB
