Sure, try OMRON. They probably still make it.
There website is http://www.omron.com Both Digikey and Mouser are Omrom distributors. -Chuck Harris Irv Finkleman wrote: Does anyone know where I might find a replacement for the OMRON relay in the TS-820? I've searched diligently but have been unable to find a direct replacement. There is an Omron that is close but will require some socket rewiring to work. If you can't find it let me know as I have it written down somewhere. I've got to run off to work right now and don't have time to look for it. 73, Roger -- Remove tilde (~) in e-mail address to reply Remember the USS Liberty (AGTR-5) http://ussliberty.org/ |

I've had to clean mine a few times, and this has restored proper operation.
Assuming your relay is not damaged, you may want to try cleaning the contacts. I use a small piece of copier paper, and slide it between the contacts. You may have to put some slight pressure on the contact mating surfaces so that the friction with the paper burnishes the contact surfaces. If the paper comes out with a dark streak, then you have removed carbon from between the contacts. I've had it come out streaked, and clean, but both times it repaired the relay function. -- Tom "Irv Finkleman" wrote in message ... Digi-Key should have them. Get the gold-plated one. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
