: Has anyone had any luck with winflex and Win.Xp. Every time i start it i get a error message"ERROR LOADING SLICER.VXD". anybody have any ideas? Won't work, never will. Slicer.vxd is a 16 bit device driver, as such is incompatible with Windows NT/2000/XP. The latest version of PDW 2.x, has a comport driver that does work with XP, plus it also works with the soundcard. See the thread "PDW and ERMES ?", it has a link to download PDW. Thanks for the responses. I will try PDW. I will also play around with
wonflex and see what i can do. Has anybody tried compatabilty mode? Also the compatiblity mode doesn't work. That's why a total new driver has been written for PDW. mJust try PDW, you can even use the soundcard if you like, and then you won't be needing any drivers. When using a discriminator-tap, the soundcard works really fine. At the moment I'm decoding FLEX-1600 via the soundcard and receive about 99% of the messages.
