I have got a full size G5RV designed antenna. I intend making it into an 80
metre band doublet, and broad banding it using a 50 mm cage for the last 12 foot or so, than I intend, standing the 2 cages vertical in the supporting trees. So it will finish of as a huge U or 2 L shape. About 50 feet above ground. Has any one had a bash at this shape/ style of antenna? Also I have read about antenna modelling software, where can I get some, and will it cope with silly shaped antenna? Thanks |
