probs with Yaesu FT-857 beacon/keyer
I was reading a review of my radio and was suprised to see that
the beacon feature could be used as a 3-message contest keyer... I have since found that this is not the case, at least as far as my skills have taken me. The manual is not a lot of help... I can never get access to Beacon Text 2 or 3, even following directions. Has anyone else tried this with this radio? Is it truly messed up from the factory, or am I doing something wrong? __ Steve KI5YG .. |
