I just purchased an Iron Horse 17m mobile vertical. Great design, I like
the ferrule to position the "stinger". My problem is that I can't find the
proper length for the stinger. If we ever get an amateur band at 16.5 MHz,
I'm all set, but can't seem to find the 18.1 MHz length. Does anyone know
what is the starting length for the stinger for 17m? The excess length does
not seem to run into a cross wire as in the Hamstick, is it possible there
is something missing here?
