I have just bought a Kenwood TS711A and its got a slight problem.
The 100hz digit on the main frequency readout, and the RIT readout works fine when it reads 0, but as soon as I tune off the 0, all the seven segments light up and it reads 8. This makes it useless. If I select a memory that has never had a frequency stored in it, the 100hz digit reads 8 instead of the - that it should. example- - - -. - - -.8. 8.0 when it should read - - -. - - -.-. 0.0 I've tried a processor reset, but made no difference. Anyone got any ideas? -- Jack VK2CJC (look up my email address using the usual sites) |
