Hello All
I am building a LF/MW/HF Preselector and I would like to use my computer to layout a pattern, 4 inches (101.6mm) by 10 inches (254mm) using 2 variable capacitors, three rotary switches, two potentiometers and some toggle switches. Toggle switches are no problem but the other controls should be "calibrated" type of layouts. I have used MS Paint with only letters and numbers, reversed and applied to a clear transparency with a laser printer. This worked ok but to draw lines at an angle do not work. If I have a layout I can copy or scan I believe that would work ok. I have done ok with schematics. I have some Dataq dry transfers but some are too small or too large. I tried scanning and resizing but I cannot get rid of the "blue" background. I have some graphics programs but the learning curve is steep and I am not an artist so I do not understand much of the terminology such as "layers" etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If you send a link, please make sure it is "direct" and not to a site where I have to figure out what you meant to tell me. Thank you in advance. Please answer to the group as this address is only for logging into Google Groups. Richard |
