They're both half-have antennas, so the mounting height, polarity,
orientation relative to each other and what the 'other folk' have will have a bearing. but for line-of-sight - just holler at 'em. but its hard to beat the ol' a-99 if you have it sticking out the top of a tall pine tree. even better if you hook your radio to it "Blue Dawg" wrote in message ups.com...
